Part of the Buffalo Southtowns, Hamburg is well known and loved by many for the iconic Erie County Fair that takes place each year in August. The town includes two different villages, Blasdell and the Village of Hamburg, and is also home to an array of small businesses, shops, and restaurants, such as the McKinley Mall, Hamburg Brewing, and The Grange Community Kitchen.
